Research on the Application of Teacher-Student Collaborative Assessment in Business English Writing Teaching

Over the years, the way of feedback on business English writing teaching mainly focus on teacher’s feedback, which leads to the slow progress of students’ English ability due to the difficulty of giving timely and effective feedback to them. This paper summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the former writing feedback methods, and tries to summarize the advantages of TSCA compared with other feedback methods by studying its application in business English writing teaching. This study takes the sophomores in business English of Wuhan Business University as the research objects, collects relevant data through experimental research and questionnaire survey. The study shows that, to some extent, TSCA can save teachers’ time, improve the feedback efficiency, and enhance the communication between teachers and students. Most students have a positive attitude towards TSCA.
