Effects of production factors on formaldehyde emission of E_1 humid resistant medium density fiberboard

Low toxin urea formaldehyde resin modified with melamine formaledhyde should be used in order to produce E_1 humid resistant MDF.Resin load increasing can reduce formaldehyde emission. 11%13% resin load was fit.The increase of hot-pressing temperature and hot-pressing time also can reduce the formaldehyde emission.The formaldehyde emission of MDF decreased with the increase of MDF thickness.When thickness is 16 mm,the proper hot-press temperature was 190 and hot-press time was 25 smm~(-1) the products would be satisfied.[Ch,4 fig.1 tab.7 ref.]
