A profiled product made of a composite material, in which the profile is made of a compound substantially comprising wood dust or wood fibres and at least one polymer, preferably PVC (polyvinylchloride), PP (polypropylene) or PE (polyethylene) and in which the profile is externally covered in whole or in part by a protective film that is made of one or more transparent thermoplastic polymers and rendered permanently adherent to the external surfaces of the profile.
