Method for deburring of titanium alloy surface by micro-arc discharge

2016
The invention discloses a method for deburring of a titanium alloy surface by micro-arc discharge, and belongs to the technical field of surface treatment. The method comprises the steps of S1, preparing an electrolyte solution, specially, mixing, by mass, the following components of 40-50% of carbonate, 20-40% of carbonaceous organic materials, 10-15% of halide and 10-15% of water, to obtain the mixed electrolyte solution; and S2, performing deburring by micro-arc discharge, specially, at the room temperature, placing a titanium alloy part into the prepared electrolyte solution, using the titanium alloy as an anode and the graphite as a cathode, increasing the voltage to a voltage to be treated of 350V-500V, placing the titanium alloy part into the electrolyte solution, and performing treatment for 3-5 minutes, so that burrs produced by machining are removed. Through the adoption of the method disclosed by the invention, the cost of deburring is reduced, the efficiency is improved, burrs on machined titanium alloy medical instruments can be removed in a short time, and the surface properties of the medical titanium alloy cannot be affected.
