PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN JIGSAW II TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VIII SEMESTER GENAP SMP

The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 20 Bandar Lampung with problems reated to the low ability of mathematical problem solving in class VIII students in the even semester of SMP Negeri 20 Bandar Lampung. The study aims to determine the Jigsaw II model mainstreaming of the ability to solve mathematical problems in eighth grade students in the even semester of SMP Negeri Bandar Lampung in the 2018/2019 academic year. This research in anexperimental method with a population of all students of class VIII even semester SMP Negeri 20 Bandar Lampung academic year 2018/2019, which is divided into 8 classes with a total of 246 students. From the population, two classes were taken as a sample of class VIII G, namely as an experimental class with 30 atudents and class with a total of 31 students. The sampling technique used is cluster random sampling. Variable measurement using essay test as many as 5 items which have been tested for validity and reliability first. Data analysis uses simple statistical analysis with formulas ttes. Based on the results of hypothesisi testing using ttes obtained thit =5,59 and from the distribution table at a significantlevel of 5% with tdaf =   so it is known   >  or can be written . So the Jigsaw II learning modelhas an influence on mathematical problem solving skills in class VIII even semester SMP Negeri 20 Bandar Lampung in the academic year of 2018/2019.
