Tissue culture of Brassica campestris ssp. pekinensis

The sterilied seeding of B. campestris ssp. Pekinensis (Lour) olsson was used as cultural material and the effects of different explants, hormone combination, seeding days, AgNO_3 and ABA on the induction rate of adventitious shoots were studied. The results showed that the cotyledon cultured for 6 days possessed the highest induction; the frequency of adventitious shoot increases obviously by adding 4 mg/L AgNO_3 and ABA 0.5 mg/L in MS medium with BA 1.5 mg/L and NAA 0.5 mg/L.
