We propose to answer the following research questions through this evidence summary;  What are the different types and mediums of BCC interventions aimed at improving ANC coverage and uptake of ANC services in low literacy settings?  Which are the most effective BCC interventions to improve ANC coverage and uptake of ANC services?  What is the effectiveness of theory based BCC as compared to non-theory based BCC?
