Comparison of the content result of ferulic acid in Chinese Angelica by methods of extraction and soxhlet extraction

Objective To select the extraction technology of Chinese Angelica.Methods The soxhlet extraction method and the extraction method were compared with index of ferulic acid.Results The content of ferulic acid extracted by soxhlet extraction were higher than those extracted by extraction.Conclusion Chinese Angelica extracted by soxhlet method was superior to extraction.
