Positioning/photographing method in mri
1992
PURPOSE: To surely execute positioning/photographing, and especially, to allow an artifact by turning-back and shortening of a scan time to be compatible with each other by eliminating the part determined by depending on the sixth sense of an operator at the time of positioning a slave image at the time of regular photographing by using a master image. CONSTITUTION: For instance, the head part is photographed. A controller of an MRI system photographs simultaneously an axial image A and a sagittal image S being orthogonal to each other as two pieces of master images by multi-angle/multi-slice, and stores them in a storage device. Subsequently, the axial image A is displayed on a display device, and while observing visually its monitor screen, a range (number of matrixes of a photographing area in the encoding direction and the lead direction and its center position are designated by an operator. Next, the sagittal image S is displayed, and in the same way, a photographing area (number of slice pieces, etc.) in the slice direction is designated. In accordance with those designated information, the axial image being a slave image is photographed by the designated number. COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
