Registo de quatro novas espécies de Odonata para a Ribeira do Vascão, Sítio de Interesse Comunitário do Guadiana (Portugal)

Between the months of February and June of 2009, Odonata samples were taken at 14 sites on the banks of the Vascao stream, in order to present the area as a candidate for Ramsar status. As a result we identified 12 Odonata species, among them four new to the area: Sympecma fusca, Coenagrion caerulescens, Gomphus graslinii and Libellula quadrimacula- ta.
