Holding Australia to Ransom: The Colston Affair, 1996-2003

The treachery of Malcolm Arthur Colston, a Labor senator from Queensland between 1975 and 1996 for the sake of personal advancement is discussed. Some of the different factors that are responsible for his being termed as a rat for misusing privileges are highlighted.
