Introduction of a Realistic Soil-Vegetation Component in a Hydrological Model: Application to HAPEX-MOBILHY Experiment

1991
In hydrological modeling, a correct description of the energy and mass exchanges at the interface between land and atmosphere is of primary importance. This is due to the fact that if the watershed boundary is correctly determined, the only water supply is rainfall, and evapotranspiration involves more than the half of the total amount of precipitation in temperate regions.
