The coccidiosis is a disease commonly found in broiler production. An alternative is the steroidal saponines which limits the Eimeria fixation to the intestine mucose. Two thousand Arbor Acres chicks of one day of age were logged in wood shaving floor containing 5×10 3 Eimerias per gram. The present trial was undertaken to assess the effect of the addition of 600 grams of nicarbazina + monensin /ton of feed or steroidal sapogenines (500 ppm of feed) on the poultry production and Eimeria count.
