El "stolbur" del tomate: detección en España mediante la reacción en cadena de la polimerasa (PCR)

By polymerase chain reaction (PCR), stolbur was detected in tomato and pepper plants in Valencia (Spain). A fragment of the phytoplasma 16S rRNA gene was amplified with universal and specific primers. No amplifications were obtained with healthy plants. These results corroborate the presence of stolbur in our country.
