2009
The proposal of humanization of healthcare is one of the strategies to effectively respond to the complex health needs of individuals and populations. In child healthcare, comprehensive and multiprofessional care is emphasized, in order to favor the comprehension of children’s needs and rights. Objective: This study aims to identify and analyze the knowledge produced about child healthcare humanization, through a systematic literature review. Method: The review was based on: formulation of a guiding question and an objective, search in database, establishment of inclusion and exclusion criteria of studies based on the abstracts, search of full texts, definition of data to be collected from the selected studies, extraction and analysis of data, presentation of results and discussion. The data extracted from the selected studies are presented in a chart, with discussion of the findings, through a descriptive analysis by categorization. Results: The results refer to the humanization of childcare in primary healthcare, in maternal and infant health and in the hospital context. Aspects like: Family participation, developmental care, adequate hospitalization environment, incorporation of the recreational aspect, humanization of perinatal and integral care are highlighted. Conclusion: We consider that the identified aspects contribute to a reflection in the childcare area, as they indicate aspects of humanization policies and practices, which can potentially support the integrality of care.
