Method of producing a flexible fabric for implanting dehydrated.

1999
Process for preparing a sample flexible and soft tissue comprising the steps of: (1) treating natural soft obtained from a donor tissue: (a) liquid compositions of gradually increasing concentrations of a solvent or polar organic solvents, to the last of said liquid compositions contains at least approximately 25% by volume of said solvent or solvent mixture, the remainder being water, the solvent selected from a group consisting provided with 1 to 3 carbon aliphatic alcohols and other solvents being polar organic water miscible; (B) then with a second liquid composition of aqueous glycerol or polyethylene glycol of low molecular weight having a molecular weight less than about 1000 D, which contains glycerol or polyethylene glycol of low molecular weight, or mixtures thereof, a concentration range of about 10 to 50% by volume, also containing said second liquid composition about 3 to 20% weight by volume polyethylene glycol of molecular weight from 6,000 D to 15,000 D and approximately 2 to 75 units per milliliter heparin molecular weight greater than about 3 kD; (2) brief immersion subsequent soft tissue in an aqueous heparin solution with a concentration of about 20 to 500 units per milliliter, and (3) subsequent freezing tissue and lyophilizing thereof to the drying state.
