Vector Hysteresis Model Associated With FEM in a Self-Excited Induction Generator Modeling

2016
This paper discusses the implementation of the inverse Jiles–Atherton vector hysteresis model with the 2-D Finite Element Method (FEM) for the analysis of an induction machine operating as self-excited generator. A differential reluctivity tensor couples the hysteresis model with the magnetic vector potential-based finite-element model. Experimental and simulated results (transient and steady state) are presented.
