Determination method for penetration amount

The invention provides a penetration amount determination method able to realize indexing of the imbedibility of an absorptive article's fluid. The penetration amount determination method is a method for determining the penetration amount of an absorber equipped absorptive article. Specifically, the method includes the processes of: tilting a plate for loading a determination object serving as the absorptive article by 10 degrees relative to the horizontal plane; adjusting the position of a funnel, which can a solution used for determination flow to the determination object on the plate; placing the determination object on the plate; adjusting the distance between the funnel mouth and the determination object; and transferring a predetermined amount of solution used for determination into the funnel, and making the solution used for determination flow along the surface of the determination object.
