Readiness to technological adoption by the prevailing mis: a survey in Indian perspective

The new technology is becoming the main force to determine the pattern of the 21st century and giving great opportunities in all spheres of our life. A Survey has been made to understand the impact of IT changes on the adoption of MIS at various levels in the organizations. This paper surveys about 200 firms in India to ascertain the nature and level of their IT use in MIS. Outcome of this study is helpful to guide managers to better incorporate IT in MIS adoption at various levels in the organization to enjoy the fruits of economic boom.
