Analysis and Optimization Research of Welding Volute for Centrifugal Compressors

Take centrifugal compressors of Shenyang turbo-Machinery CO.,LTD as an example,the paper analyzes and research construction of welding volute.Meanwhile we build complete calculating model and obtain flow law of volute inside Make use of NUMECA software analyze flow of centrifugal compressor,main features of the flow field were obtained and modifications of volute design were proposed.The efficiency of the stage was successfully increased and flow loss decreased.
