A medical macromolecular microsphere adsorbent for blood perfusion apparatus and a manufacturing method thereof. Polystyrene-divinylbenzene microspheres are graded by pore size and specific surface area, medically purified, and grafted by a bioactivity-controlled technique to prepare the microsphere adsorbent. In the microsphere adsorbent, the volume ratio of the microspheres with pore sizes of 1-10 μm, 10-100 μm and 100-500 μm is 1:(1-10):(1-20). The residual monomer content in the microspheres has an O.D. 190-400 nm ≤ 0.03. The microsphere adsorbent of the present invention can adsorb small-sized harmful molecules in the blood, and can also effectively adsorb medium- and large-sized harmful molecules in the blood, thereby meeting clinical needs.
