Dengue is one of the most important viral diseases in the world. In Brazil, the climatic conditions have favored the proliferation of mosquito that transmits causing a significant increase in the number of cases in recent years. In this context, this study aimed to evaluate the epidemiology of Dengue and its relation to the climatological variability in the municipality of Igarassu, Pernambuco during the years 2011 and 2013, as well as making a comparison between years, and assess whether there was an increase or a decrease in cases from one year to the other.
