The Incidence of Metamizole Sodium-Induced Agranulocytosis in Poland

2002
Metamizole sodium continues to be used extensively as an analgesic in Poland. This study was the first undertaken to quantify the incidence of agranulocytosis associated with metamizole sodium in Poland, and to compare the findings with those from other countries. Przeprowadzone badanie bylo pierwszą probą ilościowego ustalenia związku pomiedzy wystąpieniem nowych przypadkow agranulocytozy a stosowaniem soli sodowej metamizolu w Polsce i porownania rezultatow badania z wynikami uzyskanymi w innych krajach.
