Mouse to pan, zoom and scroll controls

A control device comprising a processor and a control switch. The control switch comprises a button and a memory coupled to the processor analog sensor. The button is configured such that it is moved in a first direction and a second direction which is opposite to the first direction substantially. The analog sensor is configured to detect a movement amount of the key in the first direction and the second direction and to send a control signal to the processor to indicate the amount of movement. The processor is configured to control on the basis of the control signal zooming an image displayed on a computer monitor a graphical object at a rate based on the amount of motion.
