A map distribution server (4) comprises: a travel information receiving processor (33) for receiving travel information on a moving body, the travel information being transmitted from a map display terminal (1); an information accumulation processor (34) for accumulating the travel information received by the travel information receiving processor (33) into a travel history DB (35); a travel path prediction unit (36) for predicting a travel path of the moving body in accordance with the travel information accumulated by the travel history DB (35); and a map information selection processor (37) for selecting, from among map information recorded in a map information DB (32), map information corresponding to the travel path predicted by the travel path prediction unit (36). A map information distribution processor (39) distributes the map information selected by the map information selection processor (37) to the map display terminal (1).
