Information Conversion and Output Device for CAN Bus

On-board emission measurement of heavy vehicles often need to record the emission measurement data and the data from CAN bus such as engine speed and torque. But most of the emission testing equipment lack of the ability to obtain data from vehicle bus. In order to overcome the shortage, a CAN bus information conversion and output device based on the XC164 -CS single -chip and combined with the function of test equipment and hardware interface have been designed. With the device the CAN bus information selected can be parsed and converted into actual physical data as output in two ways: the D / A conversion and the RS -232 serial ports communication, at the same time the engine speed and torque are displayed on the LCD module.
