Effect of nitrogen on the properties of Bochvalloy (42KhNM) alloy in the operating and high temperature range

The structure and properties of Bochvalloy alloy are studied with a different nitrogen content in the operating temperature range and higher. Metallographic and x-ray structural analyses are provided, electrical resistance and mechanical properties in tensile tests are determined. Structural stability and properties after prolonged soaking at 350-450°C and also radiation resistance are evaluated.
