Manufacturing apparatus for casting semi-solid materials and process method thereof

A semi-solid metal manufacturing apparatus comprising a generation equipment for making initial granular crystals very economically and highly efficiently, and a method for manufacturing a semi-solid metal using the same are provided. An apparatus for manufacturing a semi-solid metal comprises: a metal melting equipment in which a melting crucible(203) is embedded, which has a tapping path heater(302) mounted tapping pipe(301), and which controls an amount of molten metal discharged by vertical movement of a hot top rod(101) for discharging molten metal; a granular primary crystal generating equipment which is installed at an output side of the metal melting equipment, and comprises a cooling water circulation pipe installed on an outer surface of a semicircular pipe with a predetermined length, a cooling water circulation pipe protecting casing installed at an outer side of the cooling water circulation pipe, and an inclined cooling plate(40) having multi-joint angle-adjusting links mounted on the center, the front and the rear thereof; and an ordinary water cooling type drawing equipment(60) installed at an output side of the granular primary crystal generating equipment to manufacture the semi-solid metal by injecting a granular primary crystal into a lower holding furnace(50) through the inclined cooling plate.
