Verification of flow of commuters for alleviating congestion at the time of rush hour

This paper describes the verification for alleviating congestion at the time of rush hour. In the Tokyo metropolitan area, congestion rate of the train at the time of commuting and attending school is still high, and efforts to reduce congestion has been carried out in various ways. Railway companies and the government have lobbied the time difference commuting and off-peak commuting to users. Also users know that you can reduce congestion by such behavior. However, in fact it has become state of social dilemma that the users are not able to cooperate. Except for such quadruple track of the route due to large-scale capital investment, the results of alleviating congestion is not quite up. This paper was verified what cooperative action of users approaches to alleviating congestion. As a result, the length of adjustment time as a cooperative behavior, it was found that there is a large difference in the number of users to take cooperative behavior. The length of the adjustment time as a cooperative behavior is thought to be related to the user's attributes (students, office workers, etc.), it is considered to be a hint of when to make an effective strategy.
