A new encephalomagnetic effect in human brain generated by static magnetic fields

Abstract Exposure to static magnetic fields as used in NMR-equipment generates a new encephalomagnetic field in human brain. Currents induced in coils placed at the cortex have a distinct frequency between 6 and 8 Hz.
