EGR FOR ETHANOL-POWERED DIESEL ENGINES

The aim of the project is to reduce NOx emissions from an ethanol-powered diesel engine with unchanged or improved emissions values for other exhaust components in combination with conventional cleaning systems. The project will result in a development of control parameters of EGR-system, optimizing of the system related engine power, fuel consumption, noise and exhaust emissions. The aim is to build up and demonstrate a working EGR-controlled system in laboratory environment. (A)
