Amide Acetal in Palladium‐Catalyzed Allylation with Allylic Alcohols under Neutral Conditions
2017
A mild and efficient palladium-catalyzed allylation reaction with allylic alcohol is described. In situ activation of allylic alcohol was achieved using N,N-dimethylacetamide dimethyl acetal and simple palladium catalyst (Pd(PPh3)4). This reaction system does not require specially designed ligand, acid, or base additives. In addition to carbon nucleophiles, nitrogen and oxygen nucleophiles also react with the allylic alcohol in this system.
