RELACIÓN DE AYUDA DE LA ENFERMERA CON LA MUJER ANTES DE LA MASTECTOMÍA

This article intends to analyze a non-directed interaction using a relationship of help as a technique. This occurred in the Hospital das Clinicas/FMRP with patient N., 56t years old, married. The interview was written out, discussed and analyzed. The data showed four categories. The results show that the nurse received the concerns expressed by the patient, showing interest and a willingness to help her and her non-directed actions made it possible for the patient to speak about her concerns, relieving her tension, in spite of the proximity of finitude. Instead of presenting ready formulas, she was open, respectful and understanding, helping the patient to continue in her fight for life.
