Applying Joint Transform Correlator in Tomato Recognition

Tomatoes are eligible fruits to be harvested automatically, while recognition in field is one main challenge. Joint transform correlation (JTC) was applied to recognize tomatoes. An optical joint transform correlation was constructed and an initial test was done. It shows JTC is an effective technology for tomatoes recognition, and optical JTC is a potential equipment to pattern recognition.
