EFFECT OF YIXINKANGTAI ON FREE RADICALS IN THE HEALTHY SUBJECTS AT HIGH ALTITUDE

To observe the effect of Yixinkangtai on the marks of metabolism of free radicals in healthy subjects at high altitude,including Superoxide dismutase(SOD),glutathion peroxide(GSH-Px)and malondialdehyde(MDA).Methods:SOD,GSH-Px and MDA were measured in 305 healthy subjects living at high altitude(3 300m)before and after taking Yixinkangtai.Results:The value of SOD and GSH-Px were increased significantly( P 0 01),and that of MDA was decreased markedly( P 0 01) in healthy subjects after administration of Yixinkangtai.Conclusions:It indicated that the drug can improve the metabolism of free radicals in healthy subjects at high altitude.So we predict that the drug can prevent early free radicals-induced aging at high altitude.
