To the Editor The paper by Krupickova and colleagues, recently published in Heart 1, exemplifies the resurgence of interest for the management of partial atrioventricular (AV) septal defect, an anomaly commonly thought to have excellent early and late survival.2 Alas, even simple things may conceal the risk of failure.
