Le diagramme de Harris

Pour enregistrer la complexite stratigraphique du site de Beg ar Loued, un diagramme de Harris a ete realise en tenant compte des specificites liees aux multiples phases architecturales et a une sedimentation assez uniforme. Le diagramme ainsi obtenu est loin d'etre parfait mais permet d'avoir une vue d'ensemble des principales relations stratigraphiques correlees aux dates 14 C. Il a servi de base au sequencage de l'occupa-tion du site en huit phases. Abstract To record the stratigraphic complexity of the site of Beg ar Loued, a Harris diagram has been undertaken, taking into account the differences due to the different architectural phases and the rather uniform sedimentation. Such a diagram is far from perfect but allows having a clear overview of the main stratigraphic relations, linked with the radio-carbon dates. It was used for dividing the occupation of the site into eight phases.
