Method for extracting cotton fibers from waste elastic cotton gauze

The invention relates to a method for extracting cotton fibers from waste elastic cotton gauze, which comprises the following steps: (1) wetting waste elastic gauze at room temperature; (2) rinsing; (3) stewing at high pressure and high temperature; (4) rinsing again, and removing spandex; (5) dewatering; (6) airing; (7) cutting off the waste cotton gauze; (8) opening; and (9) carding to obtain cotton fibers. By extracting cotton fibers from waste elastic cotton gauze, environmental pollution is reduced and waste cotton fibers are changed into useful materials, thereby having great economical efficiency and social benefits.
