Introduction. Despite achievements of the modern medical science, the problem of treatment of patients with a purulent surgical infection of the soft ftissues still takes the predominating place in surgery. The long terms of an adhesion and frequent complications at treatment of purulent wounds force surgeons to look for new methods, to return to studying of a problem in process of development of medical science and technology. Aim of research. Studying of antibacterial effect of ointments in an experiment on model of the purulent wound at rabbits infected with the strain of S.aureus. Methods. The research was conducted on rabbits of breed of a hybrid with a giant at the age of 2 months, with an alive weight of 2-3 kg. Models of a purulent wound were received by means of a vertical section on cervical department of a backbone. Wound was infected by the laboratory strain of S.aureus. Depending on a way of treatment rabbits were divided into 3 groups. For 4, 8 and 12 days of experience made measurements of diameter of a wound and excised sites from purulent wound for histologic material. Results. In group of animals where it was applied ointment “Levomekol” the favorable current of a wound process is noted that is confirmed reliable (p <0.05) by acceleration regeneration of a skin and hypodermic fat, in comparison with other groups. Conclusion. Use of ointment “Levomekol” in complex treatment of purulent wounds has the beneficial effect on the current of a wound process by anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial action.
