Fragment angular distributions from neutron-induced fission of 233U and 235U
1981
The angular distributions of fission fragments from the 233,235U(n,f) reactions have been measured with six surface-barrier detectors for thermal to 2 MeV incident neutrons. From a channel analysis which used data for fission barrier parameters, theoretical fits were made to the fragment angular distributions and fission cross sections. In general, a satisfactory simultaneous fit was obtained for all aspects of the 233U and 235U data. In contrast with previous analyses, the s-wave fission width distributions for 235U were fitted successfully.
