Erratum to “Methanol as a cryoprotectant for equine embryos”: Theriogenology 62 (2004) 1153–1159

Due to a production error, some information was published incorrectly. The correct information, and the original incorrect version, are presented below. Embryos were cryopreserved in 1.36 M glycerol, not 136 M as it appears in the published work. Embryos were cryopreserved in 4.8% methanol, not 48% as it appears in the published work. Procedural oversight – upon thawing embryos treated with methanol, there was an additional 5 min step of 4.8% methanol + 0.5 M sucrose before the 5 min step with 2.56% methanol + 0.5 M sucrose.
