VEGA and MOGA an Approach to Multi-Objective Optimization

2015
VEGA and MOGA are most common approaches to solve a multi-objective optimization problem. Multi- objective optimization problem arises when we have more than one conflicting objectives, for example: In two objectives the task is to maximize the first objective, while to minimize the other, then there exists no single solution while A set of solutions(trade-offs) is found in which we can never say any solution is better than others with additional information. . The fundamental principle of VEGA and MOGA are presented with manual calculations. We also present the advantage and disadvantage of each approach.
