CBr4-Mediated Cross-Dehydrogenative Coupling Reaction of Amines

An ovel CBr4-mediated dehydrogenative Povar- ov/aromatization tandem reaction of glycine derivatives with alkenes, leadin gt oc omplex quinoline derivatives, and aC Br4-mediate dd ehydrogenative C¢ Hf unctionaliza- tion of N-aryl tetrahydroisoquinolines with nucleophile st o form C¢ Ca nd C¢ Pb onds are reported. The reactions were performed under very simple and mild reaction con- ditions ;o nly CBr4 wa su sed as ap romoter .A plausible mechanism involving ar adical process is proposed.
