Microcomputer Spreadsheets: A New Concept in Decision Making

Microcomputer spreadsheet packages are available on virtually all microcomputers and are introducing new concepts into decision making rapidly. After only a day or two’s exposure to the basic techniques underlying such packages, relatively complex decision-making models can be developed. Because of the widespread availability and usefulness of these packages, no practitioner or student within production research can ignore the impact that they are now making on the decision-making process.
