Magnetic analysis as a means of determining the magnetic phase contents of ferrite powders

1. An examination is made of some simple gravimetric methods of specific saturation magnetization intensity measurement for the determination of the amounts of magnetic phases in ferrite powders. 2. The results of an experimental study are presented and a comparison is made of evaluations of ferritic magnetic phase contents by magnetic, x-ray diffraction, and phase chemical methods for heat treated barium hexaferrite, lithium-sodium ferrite, and magnesium ferrite-aluminate powders.
