The effects of temperature and pressure on membrane electrode assemblies for Polymer Electrolyte Membrane

The performance of membrane electrode assemblies (MEA) at different fabrication condition with hot pressing method was investigated. At various temperature and pressure conditions of the contact area between the electrolyte and electrode effects were studied. Conditions affected by the fuel cell station and AC electrical analysis methods were evaluated. According to the study, the temperature of 80°C and the pressure of 200kg/cm were in the best condition.
