Measurement and Primary Study on Bed Shear Stress Under Complex Hydrodynamic Environment

Sediment movement in estuary and coast is closely linked with bed shear stress, so shear stress is an important approach to study basic theory of sediment movement; however, measurement and calculation method of bed shear stress under complex hydrodynamic environment including wave current and breaking wave has not been established effectively. This paper used new type thermosensitive shear stress instrument based on micro-nanotechnology to carry out measurement and study on bed shear stress in wave current flume. The study shows that new type thermosensitive shear stress instrument has high response frequency and good stability, experimental results reveal basic characteristics of bed shear stress composite calculation and spatial and temporal distribution change under the influence of wave current and breaking wave and put forward calculation method of maximum shear stress under joint influence of wave current, and the research achievements can lay foundation for further studying theoretical problems of sediment movement under the influence of complex hydrodynamic action.
