The Colombian jail passes indisputable problems that need prompt and balanced solution, some of them are overcrowding, overpopulation, corruption, violence, among others. These problems not only affect the service of the Colombian prison system but directly undermines the basic rights and human dignity of Colombian prisoners, even though they are in a special state of subjection and human dignity be one characteristic own social rule of law and founding principle of it.
