Research on Service and Service-oriented Architecture Properties

The last two decades have witnessed a drastic change in information technology,and service,as a new generation of software technique,comes into being to face the challenge of the soaring business varieties and complexities.In this paper,in genetic perspective of service,elements,properties and their relationship are presented and analyzed to provide a reasonable understanding of service.This paper divides service properties into two groups,according to different objectives,explaining how separated service achieves reuse objective based on encapsulation,and how interaction objective is futilized based on universal descriptiveness in each group.
