Influence of the phase in planetary gears load sharing and transmission error

This work studies the influence of different geometrical configurations, which modify the mesh phasing and planet spacing of a planetary gear set, and its impact on the load sharing and transmission error in a three-planet planetary gear set. Geometry affects the performance of the gear set and therefore it has its influence in the behaviour of the transmission such as load sharing and transmission error, which are the focus of this work. At the same time, it is important to study the influence of different loads and therefore the incidence of the flexibility of the different elements that are part of the transmission.
